Han Chinese (Putonghua) is the official name of Mandarin is the official language of China. It is the world's most widely first spoken language and is the native language of the Han people. Han Chinese which the most spoken, by far, is Mandarin (about 850 million) total of 91.95%

§  China is composed of 56 ethnic groups.

§  Han Chinese account for 91.59% of the overall Chinese population.

§  The other 55 ethnic as the combined population only make up 8.41% of the total Chinese. which is far fewer then Hen Chinese.
